"For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon'; the Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.' Jesus explains that is essentially impossible to appease everyone; that rather than placating to the whims and criticisms of the public, it is beneficial for 1 to do what 1 knows to be proper. Is there ever an occasion where you take a position that is unpopular and you stand your ground because you are right?
