Welcome.  ΣO אن冬宮 is a pluralistic community gathering place that welcomes all families and friends from all religions, ethnicities, cultures, languages, traditions, and locations.  We welcome angels, aliens, and all others.  Our guiding principle is:  Love and Peace.

Community Centre.  In our capacity as a community centre, our ΣO אن冬宮 provides facilities for numerous religious, cultural, and community activities.  This includes:  Prayer/Meditation/Salat/Samadhi/Davening/Reflection facilities;  Puja facilities;  washing/Wudu facilities and Mikveh;  classrooms/presentation/meeting/study facilities;  Yoga and exercise facilities;  quiet space;  café;  library;  computer facilities;  art facilities;  gardening;  and additionally.

International Hostel.  OurΣO אن冬宮 provides accommodations for our participants and visitors.  This includes:  dormitory facilities; shared bathroom facilities;  private rooms;  private bathrooms;  laundry facilities;  a flat for our male custodian and his family;  a flat for our female custodian and her family.  Residents and guests are also able to utilise the aggregate facilities of our ΣO אن冬宮, in the same manner as all our members.

Retreat Centre.  Our ΣO אن冬宮 also serves as a retreat centre, providing accommodations and facilities for the programmes and activities of visiting groups.

Daily Schedule.  Within our daily schedule, our ΣO אن冬宮 provides facilities for our members to independently conduct regular religious practices, in a manner that is proficient within the respective traditions of each respective member.  This includes:  Davening, Salat, Samadhi, Prayer, Meditation, Reflection, Mass, Puja, meals, and additionally.

Weekly Schedule.  Our ΣO אن冬宮 also provides facilities for the respective weekly religious and traditional practices of our members.  This includes:  Jumma, Shabbat, Sunday Worship, InterFaith Services, and additionally.

Monthly Schedule.  Our ΣO אن冬宮 also provides facilities for the respective monthly religious and traditional practices of our members.  This includes:  Upossattha Days, Rosh Chodesh, InterFaith Services, and additionally.

Semester Schedule.  With our scheduling of study courses, our ΣO אن冬宮 utilises 2-semester system, with an interim semester, and 2 interim “service periods.”  This proceeds in the following manner:

Semester 1 (Northern Autumn/Southern Spring):  Monday After Simchat Torah To Thursday Before Noel (~12 Weeks)
Semester 2 (Northern Spring/Southern Autumn):  Monday After Christian Gregorian New Year To Thursday Before Pesach (~14 Weeks)
Interim Semester: Monday After Shavuot To Thursday Before Ellul (~11 Weeks)
Service Periods:
Vaishakh Service Period:  Monday After Pesach To Thursday Before Shavuot (~5 Weeks)
中秋 Zhongqiu Jie Service Period:  Monday After Interim Semester To Thursday Before Rosh Hashanah (~4 Weeks)

Annual Schedule.  Our ΣO אن冬宮 also convenes services and programmes of respective annual religious and traditional observances.  This includes:

Within Judaism:  Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shmini Etzeret, Simchat Torah, Pesach, Omer, Shavuot, and Ellul.
Within Hinduism:  Diwali, (Maha) Kumbh Mela, Holi, and Navatri.
Within Buddhism:  Dharma Day, Magha Puja, Vesak, and Kartak.
Within Christianity:  Carnival/Mardi Gras/Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, Lent, Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Bon Friday, Easter Sunday, Pentecost, Advent, Sankta Lucia, Noel, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s.
Within Islam:  Ramadan, Eid Ul Fitr, Zhul Hijja, Eid Ul Adha, Muharram, and Ashura.
Within Sikhism:  Vaishakhi and Guru Nanak Dev.
Within Baha’i Faith:  Ayam-i-ha, Naw Ruz, Ridvan, Ascension of Baha’u’llah, and Birth of Baha’u’llah.
Within Chinese Tradition:  Nian and 中秋 Zhongqiu Jie.
Within Jainism:  Diwali and Navatri.
Within Zarathustrianism:  Naw Ruz.
Within Respective Native Traditions:  Solstice;  Pesktv Opvntv; Kwey Wolakotah;  Lammas;  Freyfaxi;  Iwa Ji;  Meghren;  Lohri;  Respective Native Harvest Festivals;  and additionally.
Within InterFaith Tradition:  InterFaith New Year’s (Parliament Of The World’s Religions Day), United Nations General Assembly Day, International Day Of Peace, Moksha Day, UN Day, Northern Thanksgiving Day, Universal Declaration Of Human Rights Day, Ahimsa Day, InterFaith Harmony Week, Earth Day, International Youth Service Day, Southern Thanksgiving Day, Open Doors Day, Celebration of Familia.
Within Respective Cultural Traditions:  Saint Patrick’s Day;  and additionally.

This is an initial listing of respective observances, with the intention of augmenting this calendar to include an increasingly comprehensive and balanced involvement of religions and cultures.

Activities.  Our ΣO אن冬宮 also convenes numerous programmes and activities.  This includes classes, groups discussions, cultural gatherings, and additionally.  The frequency of these activities ranges from daily, weekly, monthly, semester-based, 1-off, and additionally.

Culture.  The guiding rule for our ΣO אن冬宮 is:  Love and Peace.  We recognise and respect the differences between our respective traditions, and between the respective principles therein.  And we build a cooperative harmony amongst our differences.  And amidst such, we emphasise preventing offence to any of our traditions or members, whilst providing our members the ability to genuinely, respectively practise our own respective religion and tradition.   

We also recognise the commonality amongst our different religions and traditions.  This includes the practice of the Golden Rule:  doing unto the other what we would have the other do unto us.  This also includes renderings of the Welt Ethos:  Truthfulness, Ahimsa, Sexual Morality, and Socioeconomic Balance.

Our ΣO אن冬宮 is thoroughly egalitarian;  each member has equal standing and authority.  Decisions are made through consensus, recognising the protocols of:  Full, Prophesy, Majority, Ancestry, and DJ Remix.  We also practise the principle of Stewardship, recognising the merits of:  1st, Present, Need, Productivity, Care, and Ordination;  and we yield the concept of personal ownership to the actuality of personal wellbeing.  

Within our ΣO אن冬宮, we emphasise the significance of relationships, beginning each with:  Respect, Patience, Compassion, and Understanding.

The nature of our hospitality within our ΣO אن冬宮 is genuine and informal;  we emphasise the traditions of:  “var så [goud],” and “mi casa es su casa.”

Whilst our ΣO אن冬宮 provides a facility, our preference is for religious/cultural observances and events/activities to be hosted by established members of the respective, corresponding communities and religions/traditions.

Our ΣO אن冬宮 includes a designated area for murtis and additional objects considered as “idols;”  as well as areas designated for being free of idols.  Throughout our ΣO אن冬宮, we generally maintain modest artwork and decorations, with an emphasis upon abstaining from making any general displays that may be exceedingly offensive to any member.  The food and beverages within our ΣO אن冬宮 are generally vegetarian and Kosher, with a general abstinence from intoxicants. 

Our ΣO אن冬宮 operates without utilising money (national currencies).  Our ΣO אن冬宮 abstains from charging for any product or service that our ΣO אن冬宮 provides:  from sleeping accommodations to classes to religious observances to tea or coffee.  Our ΣO אن冬宮 accepts free will offerings from our members.  And our ΣO אن冬宮 engages with additional OAFFs, who are amenable with our unconventional methodologies, to secure the materials and arrangements necessary for our ΣO אن冬宮.

Construction.  The construction of our long-term facilities is based upon the Passivhaus methodology.  The utilities and infrastructure of our facilities are comprehensively “off-the-grid,” with specific preparation for inclusion within our UNI Village.  This includes autonomous, efficient, and renewable methodologies for energy, water, sewage, composting, recycling, and additionally.  We work with construction and technology firms that are versed within these methodologies, as well as the premise of our ΣO אن冬宮.

Interim Development Stage.  At this moment (on 119.10.27;67;3•2 of our InterFaith Calendar), we are within an interim stage of the physical development process of our ΣO אن冬宮.  Our ΣO אن冬宮 is currently based within the interim facilities of a residential apartment, located at 2724 Mayfield Road #10, within Φ; .僧伽.С.Σ.ω.S..サンガ..س..:*.U..ש, within Cuyahoga, Oyo, Earth, Galaxy, and Universe.

We are making plans to move the interim facilities of our ΣO אن冬宮 to a residential house, within the Coventry area of Φ; .僧伽.С.Σ.ω.S..サンガ..س..:*.U..ש.  During this interim stage of development, we continue to provide facilities for Davening, Salat, Samadhi, Prayer, Meditation, Reflection, Yoga, and additionally;  and we continue to host informal gatherings, meetings, office work, couchsurfing, and provide modest office/meeting facilities, meals, tea and coffee, and additional provisions to our members.

At the present moment, we currently provide facilities for a number of observances and programmes;  this includes:  interFaith services, Daily धर्म עולם תקן Mantram, धर्म עולם תקן Shabbat Services, couchsurfing, meals, tea and coffee, and additionally.  We are planning to convene additional weekly and monthly programmes, including:  “19:30 Wednesdays” (a topical discussion group);  “Monday MACS” (music, arts, and culture soirees);  an international film club;  a multiethnic discussion group;  and additionally.  We are also organising a modest course offering for the upcoming academic semester within our ΣO אن冬宮. 

Within this present juncture of our ΣO אن冬宮 calendar, we are conducting a daily Koran recitation (primarily an English translation) throughout this current month of Ramadan.
