upcoming week. Some of these events are
directly convened by our अΣO אن冬宮, and some of
these events are convened by other organisations or religious communities (and
our अΣO אن冬宮 simply
provides a space for such).

Monday
(Hosted Event) धर्म עולם תקן Mantram/Meditation (~6:00h - 8:00): This is a
daily practice of meditation and the recitation of Mantram within the Faith of धर्म עולם תקן (the
Dharma of Tikkun Olam).
(Hosted Event) WเเϕअAنא 天/IFSF ISN Joint
Weekly Meeting (15:00h ~ 16:00h): This is the weekly joint meeting of WเเϕअAنא 天 (UIFAN:
Universal InterFaith Action Network), an alinear, intergalactic
collective of benevolent OAFFs (organisations, activists, families, and
friends); and the InterFaith Settlement
Foundation International Support Network, a forming planned community
predicated upon pluralism, diversity, environmentalism, socioeconomic balance,
and higher education.
Ramadan Koran
Reading (17:00 ~ 19:00): We have some catch up to do in our daily
recitation of the Koran (in English translation) during the month of Ramadan (including
the past 4 days of Ramadan): Day 10: (Suras Yusuf, Ar Ra’d, Ibrahim); Day 11:
(Suras Al Hijr, An Nahl); Day 12: (Suras Al Isra, Al Kahf); Day 13:
(Suras Maryam, Ta Ha).
Multiculture
Mondays (19:00h – Until): This is a pluralistic, organic celebration of
the many different cultures of humanity, through music, song, spoken word, poetry,
prose, freestyling, art, photography, sculpture. We invite members to bring instruments,
lyrics, ideas, explanations, and open ears, and throw it into this melangé of
extemporaneous percussion, strings, brass, woodwinds, and voices.

Reading (17:00h - 17:30): On this day (Day 14) are: Suras Al Anbiya, Al Hajj.
Asalha Puja
Programme (19:00h ~ 19:30): We commemorate the annual observance of
Asalha Puja, practised within Therevadan Buddhism. We provide a brief explanation of this
observance, with light refreshments.
Wednesday

daily practice of meditation and the recitation of Mantram within the Faith of धर्म עולם תקן (the
Dharma of Tikkun Olam).
अΣO אن冬宮 Vigil
(12:00h ~ 13:00): This is our weekly gathering of songs,
chants, prayers, and meditation, at the long-term site of our अΣO אن冬宮 (on
the corner of Louis Stokes Blvd and Cedar Avenue), to spiritually,
psychologically, and physically prepare ourselves and the land for the
construction and maintenance of our अΣO אن冬宮.

(19:30h ~ 21:00): This week, our discussion group addresses the
topic of “Global Agendae;” what
religious, national, activist, and additional OAFFs have a specific 20- or 50-year
agenda? What are these agendae? And how can these agendae be carried out in a
cooperative manner amongst the many different OAFFs and collectives within our
comprehensive international community?

Multiethnic
Multiplex Presents… (19:00h ~ 21:00):
“Binta Et Le Grand Idee.” This is
a short film (~½ hour; children friendly)
from Senegal that celebrates the experience of overcoming our differences.

daily practice of meditation and the recitation of Mantram within the Faith of धर्म עולם תקן (the
Dharma of Tikkun Olam).
Torah
Trivia And Parashah Study (12:00h ~ 14:00):
This week’s Parashah is Eikev.
Our study session includes a refresher of the content of the Parashah (through
trivia questions and discussion questions), as well as a consideration of
traditional commentary.

Qasas, Al Ankabut.

Dinner (~20:30): This includes a very modest provision of
Challah, humus, and additional provisions.

(Hosted Event) धर्म עולם תקן Shabbat Service (~8:30h ~ 12:00): This extremely unconventional service,
conducted within the Faith of धर्म
עולם תקן (“Dharma Of
Tikkun Olam”), includes a recitation of this week’s Parashah (Eikev), in both
English and Hebrew (without Trope), as well as recitations from the Upanishads,
Bhagavad Gita, Digha Nikaya, Dhammapada, Gospels, New Testament, Tanakh, and
Koran. This also includes the reading of
the HafTorah in Hebrew (also without Trope).
